Is there sales tax on my order?
Orders delivered to the state of Pennsylvania will be subject to the PA 6% sales tax rate.

How do I place an order?

From the home page, you have two choices.  You may select one of the categories on the home page, which takes you to a standard shopping page of images.  OR, you may use the ‘Shop by Gallery’ option in the top navigation bar.  The ‘Shop by Gallery’ menu takes you through a different viewing option, where your images are larger and more stylized for easier image comparisons.

Once you are on a product page, just follow the tabs in order. Tab 1: Choose your medium (paper print, canvas, aluminum).  Tab 2: Choose your size.  Tab 3: Choose from your finishing options if available.  4: Summary tab with the cart icon shows all of your selections, then allows you to enter a quantity and add to your shopping cart.  From your shopping cart, follow directions for the payment and contact information needed to process your order.

What is the Wall Preview tool?

We are very pleased to offer you the Wall Preview tool on our web site.  This tool allows you to get a good idea of how an image will look in your space.  You can 1. Choose from a variety of room styles.  2. Change the size of the image you are looking at. 3. Even change the colors of the walls to match what you have at home or the office.  This tool will be your best friend if you are trying to match colors, select sizes, or choose images for different room types!

What is Augmented Reality and how do I use it?
This is the latest and greatest in web site technology that we are now offering our collectors. This app will allow you to see your selected art on your wall.  The Augmented Reality tool is to be used with your tablet or smart phone.  First select your image, medium (paper print, canvas or metal), and size.  Then click on the Augmented Reality tool.  Your device will ask for permission to use the camera.  Click 'allow', then stand approximately 10 feet from your wall.  Hold up your device with the selected image, and you will instantly see how the artwork looks in place on your wall.  From inside the Augmented Reality tool, you can change the size of the selected medium, so that you can see what a bigger or small piece will look like.  This tool will be your best friend if you are trying to match colors, select sizes, or choose images for different room types.

What are my payment options? 
The Michael Sandy Photography web site is currently using Paypal for checkout.  You may use Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or your Paypal account.  All orders must be prepaid.


What is your privacy policy? 

We take your privacy very seriously.  Your personal information is just that… personal.  We do not sell, rent or share our customer lists with any other companies or organizations.  The information you provide on your order form is for us to stay in contact with you regarding your order and our store notices/information.  If you are currently receiving  a newsletter or sales update that you no longer wish to receive, simply click ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the email or use our contact form to kindly request that you no longer receive any of our updates.

Do you accept international orders?
Yes, we do ship internationally. Please contact us in a separate email about what piece you wish to order.  All international orders will have the appropriate shipping rates calculated for your exact address.  Our web site is currently set up for shipping only to United States addresses.  1. Please email us or use our contact form to tell us exactly what you wish to order. 2. Include your shipping address and email.  3. We will get back to you as soon as possible with your shipping quote.

All international purchasers are responsible for their own duties, customs, taxes, an any other international charges your purchase may incur when arriving to your country.

Where can I see Michael's artwork in person?

Shows & Exhibits page of this web site.  This page lists our show schedule with locations, dates and times.  If you would like a private appointment with Michael, please email or call to schedule a time.

What is a Limited Edition?
A Limited Edition is a special piece that will only be produced in a select number of prints.  When the edition is sold out, it will not be printed again.  Each Limited Edition image will be shown with the number of pieces that will be available.  Many times, our Limited Editions are done as a special printing of a particular image.  For example, "Sunrise on the Stacks" is available as an open edition paper and canvas print.  However, there are two Limited Edition series for that image: one as an acrylic print (1/100) and another as a brushed aluminum print (1/25).  

Limited Editions can be printed to different sizes.  Standard sizing will be listed on the web site.  Please email inquiries to request any different sizes than what are on the site.


What are my choices for print media?
Each image is listed with current availabilities for a print medium.  Most images are available as a matted fine art print, canvas, and aluminum prints.  Please see our Limited Editions for acrylic prints, brushed aluminum prints, and other special media.

How do I hang my artwork?
All canvas gallery wraps and aluminum prints arrive to you ready to hang.  Depending upon the piece it will be outfitted with hardware such as wire, hanging rails or sawtooth hangers.  Please see our ‘Product Types’ page for more information and details on the individual product options.  Matted prints will arrive for you to finish/frame as you wish.  We recommend using wall anchors for hanging your artwork.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

What is your shipping policy and how much will it cost?

Art images are custom printed for each and every customer.  Please allow 2- 3 weeks for delivery.  Most often, your piece(s) will arrive sooner, but allowing us that window of time to create a custom piece of art is greatly appreciated.  Larger Limited Editions may take a slightly longer amount of time.

* If you are ordering for the holidays, please allow enough time for delivery.  For personal special occasions, and you have a 'need by' date, please email us or use our contact form and we will do our best to make that date happen for you.  Rush orders will incur additional charges.

Shipping charges are calculated by size and delivery destination.  Your shipping amount will be in the web site shopping cart at checkout.

Once an order has shipped, it is not possible to change the shipping address.  If you contact our office, and the piece has not yet shipped, we will gladly change the delivery address for you.

Is my artwork insured when shipped?
Yes, all products are insured for replacement when shipping to you, regardless of the carrier.

 

What should I do if my artwork arrives damaged?

As much as we try to minimize shipping damages with packaging, it unfortunately does happen.  Once pieces are in the carrier’s possession, we are unable to control the handing in between.  Even though these accidents can happen, all artwork is insured while in transit from printing studio to your destination address.  We will replace any piece that has incurred damage in shipping, and there will be no charge to you to ship the replacement.

In the event that you have received a damaged piece, please follow these easy steps:
1. We must receive notification and documentation of the damage within 7 days of your receipt.
2. Documentation is as easy as a few photos of the damaged piece, and the packaging it arrived in.
3. Email the photos to us at: michael@michaelsandyphotography.com.  In the email, please be sure to include your name, shipping address, phone number, and the piece you ordered.
With this information, we can take care of the insurance claim and have a new piece started and out to you as soon as possible.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

What is your policy on returns and refunds?

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from Michael Sandy Photography.  If there is damage in shipping, we will take care of that for you immediately and make sure that you receive a replacement for the piece you ordered. Please see "What should I do if my artwork arrives damaged?" for details and instructions. 

All returns must be received within 14 days of your delivery date.  Purchaser is responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs.  Please package well and please insure what you are shipping. If you require an exchange for size purposes, please use our contact form and we will handle these questions on an individual basis so that we can be sure you receive exactly what you need.  

Yes, we will kindly accept your return for store credit on all open edition prints.

Limited Editions are custom made for each collector.  We are unable to accept returns for these pieces.

 

Can I exchange my purchase? 
If you would like to exchange a piece for the reason of size, please contact us via email and we will assist you on an individual basis.  Outside of a sizing concern, we do not offer exchanges on the basis of image selection.   If you do not wish to keep the piece you ordered, we will kindly accept your return for store credit.
